If you or someone you love suffers from Asthma, beware of thunderstorms, because they could make your symptoms even worse.

This season seems to be one of the worst on record for people in the Northland with allergies and asthma, because of the large amount of pollen released in the air. But now scientists are warning people with breathing problems to avoid going outside during thunderstorms due to the usual high winds which stir up pollen and other airborne irritants.
