Caroline Sunshine is moving from the Mouse House to the White House.

The Disney Channel alum, who starred as Tinka Hessenheffer alongside Bella Thorne and Zendaya on dance sitcom Shake It Up, has joined President Trump's press team.

Her other acting credits include 2017 Lifetime movie Mommy, I Didn't Do It and 2010 comedy Marmaduke, opposite Owen Wilson and Emma Stone, but she's no stranger to politics. According to a statement from White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters, the 22-year-old previously interned for the Office of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the College Republican National Committee, and the California Republican Party. She was also active in her school’s model United Nations team.

Sunshine went on to secure an internship at the White House, and will now serve as a press assistant. She joins a handful of recent media personality additions, including CNBC host Larry Kudlow, who was tapped earlier this month as head of the White House National Economic Council, and Fox News analyst John Bolton, who will be the next national security adviser.
