Former Duluth Mayor Don Ness has a new job, and it's a job where he won't have to hear about potholes on a daily basis.

Ness announced on his Facebook page that he was taken a job at Lake Superior College as the new Executive Director of Workforce Development, he says he will be "working with local employers to find solutions to their workforce challenges through customized training and continuing education."

He also says that he considered moving his family to the Twin Cities and that he "explored a couple of big opportunities with state-wide significance. But when this job came around, I knew that this was the right fit."
