Free Landfill Days Coming Up in Superior

Get for ready for some spring cleaning with the help of the Superior landfill. Their annual Free Landfill Days are coming up in April.

Saturday, April 21st, and Saturday, April 28th, Superior residents will be able to drop off select items at no charge. Drop off times are between 8 am and 2:20 pm and the landfill located on Moccasin Mike Road 1.5 miles east of Hwy 53.

Items Accepted:
• Household Trash: FREE (Regular fee: $10.00 minimum, $54.00/ton)
• Brush: FREE (Regular fee: $8.00/pickup, $16.00/pickup + trailer)
• Tires: 4 FREE per residence, 18” or smaller (Regular fees: $5.00/off rim, $6.00/on rim)
• Grass clippings and leaves: FREE year-round
• Mattresses and box springs: REGULAR FEES apply – KEEP THEM DRY!
$15.00 each if completely dry and fairly clean
$18.00 each if damp, wet or heavily soiled

Items NOT Accepted at the Landfill:
• Recyclables
• Demolition/construction materials
• Electronics
• Appliances
• Batteries
• Fluorescent bulbs
• Motor oil
• Household hazardous waste
