Free Prom Dresses Available in Duluth on Saturday March 12th [VIDEO]

When you look back on your memories from High School, you have many milestones, and one of them was probably Prom. Thankfully a very kind woman is trying to make sure that every girl who needs one, will have a dress for the big occasion.

Mary is a Duluth resident who is paying it forward by collecting Prom dresses available to girls to take for the big night. It is a sad reality for many families who are struggling to be able to afford a luxury like a Prom dress, and that is where she comes in. She stores the dresses in her basement year round, cleans them up and makes sure they are ready for the big reveal.

This is the third year Mary has done this, and hopes to keep doing it every year as it gets bigger and bigger. I had Ian tag along with me, and I just had a feeling that he would not be able to resist trying on one of the dresses.

The dresses will be given away on Saturday March 12th at Valley Youth Center in the basement of Laura MacArthur School 720 N. Central Avenue from 10am-2pm.
