Get Creative and Add Awesome Typography to Your Photos With Over

I love apps, free apps, paid apps, on sale apps, games, photography apps, social apps, you name it, I've tried it and probably deleted it. But on occasion I find a great app and when I do I'll share it here in my new weekly app of the week series.

The inaugural app is one that allows you to put custom text over a photo, giving you endless creative opportunities at the tip of your finger, the app is called Over and is available for the iPhone for $1.99.

Over is incredibly easy to use and is packed with a variety of fonts for you to choose from, you'll have plenty of options available to you at first, but if you find that it isn't enough, you'll have the opportunity to buy some more within the app.

When you open Over you'll have the choice of either taking a photo or using one that you've already taken, then simply type the text you want, position it where you want it and choose a color of the font and bam, you're done.

You can save your finished project back onto the phone or upload it to Facebook,
Twitter or other social networks plus you can email it.

I love taking pictures of my daughter Rose and being able to label the photos with a touch of creativity is something I enjoy and hopefully will be enjoyed again years from now. As you can see above, I've been chronically her journey into new foods with the help of Over.
