Governor Dayton Declares Tomorrow ‘Prince Day’ in Minnesota

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton declared tomorrow, June 7th, 'Prince Day' in the state.

After causing a little bit of a controversy for declaring 'Beyonce Day' last month, the Governor may be saving face and taking the opportunity of Prince's birthday to give the iconic Minnesotan his day.

People are encouraged to honor him by wearing some purple tomorrow, on what would have been the singer's 58th birthday.
