Grand Rapids Man Nick Named “Blind Joe”, Makes It Through Elimination on “The Voice” [VIDEO]
Since the inception of the T.V. show "The Voice", many contestants from Minnesota and the surrounding area have made it through pretty far in the competition, but none of them have a backstory like Joe Bommersbach.
Joe or "Blind Joe" as he calls himself is quite an amazing guy, not only with his singing and guitar playing skills, but he is also an inspiration to so many people he meets. Joe was born in Kindred North Dakota 32 years ago and lost his site due to complications from being born premature.
Music was always a big part of Joe's life and he got his first guitar at the tender age of 5. When he is not performing on the show he is often seen making appearances at local schools, playing music and telling kids his story.
As with any of the contestants with some sort of local tie, we wish him all the best, and we know he is in good hands with Team Blake! Here is a recap of Blind Joe's performance from last night.
