Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder has a growing crowd of fans that are losing faith in the former top-half first round NFL Draft pick. Now noise from within the locker room is starting to show a demand for change at the quarterback position.

An 0-3 start following inconsistent play in the previous season drew boos from fans at the Metrodome through much of the offense's time on the field in the Vikings 27-31 loss to the Cleveland Browns. The team and coaching staff has seemingly been unified in their support of Christian Ponder as "their guy" up to this point.

The first cracks in the unified front from the Vikings locker room appeared earlier today, when wide receiver Greg Jennings offering some support for the former Chiefs starter and Tom Brady understudy, saying:

He's more verbal, kind of commanding in the huddle. That's the difference. That comes with him having more experience.

Jennings isn't unfamiliar with the notion of criticizing his starting quarterback. In his last season with the Green Bay Packers, whispers and remarks about his dissatisfaction with Aaron Rodgers caught some media coverage; which some believe is one of the reasons he jumped ship and crossed the border.

Contrary to the remarks of Jennings, Coach Frazier continues to stand firm on the plan to give Ponder the start on Sunday if his health allows. Frazier's support runs parallel with Ponder telling the media he and the athletic training staff are doing what they can to make sure he is healthy enough to play on Sunday in London agains the Pittsburgh Steelers. Current speculation is that a decision on whether or not Ponder will start could be made as soon as tomorrow (Friday). Alternatively, it is more likely that the Vikings will call Ponder "questionable" going into the weekend, making his start a game-time decision.
