William A. Irvin Haunted Ship
Duluth's most known and unique haunted attraction will be back again for 2011, bigger and better than ever. This year's theme is "Lake Superior Shanghai- A Tale of Mutiny, Murder & Mayhem". The scares begin on October 7th and run through Halloween night.

Flashlight Tours at Fairlawn Mansion
The Fairlawn Mansion in Superior offers a unique tour with the lights off this Halloween, flashlight tours of the over 100 year old mansion are scheduled October 24-27 starting at 8pm, it is first come, first served and you are encouraged to bring your own flashlight to the tour. Cost is $8 for adults and $6.50 for children and students, the tour is not recommended for kids under 5.

Hartley Nature Center's 'Howl-O-Ween'
The Hartley Nature Center on Woodland Ave. in Duluth has a fun family event this Halloween, called 'Howl-O-Ween'. Join them on Saturday October 29th at 10am and 1:30 for a couple hours of spooky fun, including a trail walk with costumed characters, crafts, games, face painting and of course Halloween treats. This event is $15 per family, meant for children 8 & under and preregistration is required.
