Currently on MIX 108 we are running a contest where someone could win $10,000, chances are if you win you'll get a check from our corporate office, but wouldn't it be cool to just get one bill, a $10,000 bill?

Technically it's possible, because the $10,000 bill does exist, but it's highly unlikely you'll actually touch one, because they are very rare; according to Wikipedia, as of 2009 only 336 $10,000 bills were known to still be around.

The $10,000 bill was the largest bill ever circulated into the general public and was no longer issued by the United States government after 1946.

6th Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court Salmon Chase was featured on the last version of the bill (see above), a version of the bill released in 1878 featured the 7th President of the United States Andrew Jackson (see below).

Now if you were lucky enough to have a $10,000 bill, you would actually have something worth more than the amount of the bill, a $10,000 bill in bad condition can fetch $30,000, the one seen in the video below is said to be valued at $96,000!
