Highway 61 and London Road Closures Start Wednesday

One of Duluth's busiest roads will be closed starting Wednesday, August 8th through late August 2012.  According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation Southbound Highway 61 and London Road will close for flood-related culvert and road repairs.

Motorists traveling Southbound Highway 61/London Road will be directed onto Superior Street to 54th Avenue East and then back onto Highway 61/London Road.

Motorists traveling on Northbound Highway 61/London Road will not be detoured, however they will encounter a few traffic shifts within the construction area.
