Every region in the United Sates has to deal with stereotypes and little quirks, some are embraced and some are defended as false.

Having lived in Minnesota over half my life, I actually laugh when traveling when I tell people I am from Minnesota because,  I always here the exaggerated ohhh and other Fargo quips. But, unlike some Land of 10.000 Lakes residents I just laugh it off.  I must say though this video is pretty spot on.

And just remember when you travel to the East coast don't be surprised If they have no idea where Minnesota even is, apparently it is not a big topic in Geography class in school out there.
