Human Body Remains Have Been Found On Park Point

Earlier this week, Duluth Police responded to a report of a person locating the remains of a human body on Park Point.

On Monday, October 10th, 2016 at 4:37 p.m., the Duluth Police responded to the call  in the area of 4800 block of Minnesota Avenue. Officers arrived at the scene and located the remains of a human body. Police are investigating the incident and believe the remains could be 53 year old Roger Wayne Swanson who went missing back on August 1st.

I walk around town all the time and with all the shows and movies I watch, I often wonder if I'd ever stumble upon human remains. My condolences go out to the missing person's family and friends. This incident is still under investigation and no other information is available.
