I Bet You Had Know Idea That Some Of These Foods Started In Minnesota
This is one list I can fall in love with, except for one thing which will remain nameless. Lot’s of great things were invented in Minnesota and still are with a handful of major company’s pumping out products that are still around. But I am pretty sure some of these things may take you by surprise.
1.) Toast: Now not actually toast itself we all know that it is bread but the pop up toaster was invented in Minnesota way back in 1919. Thank god because I am super weird in that I only eat toasted bread.
2.) Honey Crisp Apples: Scientists at the University of Minnesota actually invented a hybrid apple we now know as the Honey Crisp, a favorite worldwide.
3.) Corndogs: Of course Minnesota is known for food on a stick so it really seems no surprise that we are he home of the corndog.
