today we go back to 1998 to remember the third installment to 'Major League', the opening day of Disney's Animal Kingdom and KC-I & JoJo's biggest hit.

The third installment to the 'Major League' series came out this week in 1998, 'Major League: Back to the Minors'. Corbin Bernsen reprises his role as Roger Dern who is now the owner of the Minnesota Twins and recruits aging pitcher Gus Cantrell to mange the Twins minor league team. Gus's mission is to make a real team out of a bunch of wacky characters. Unfortunately the film failed at the box office only grossing a little over $3 million.

Disney's Animal Kingdom opened up at Disney World in Florida. It's the second largest theme park next to Six Flags Great Adventures in New Jersey and the largest Disney themed park in the world. The park is entirely themed around animal conversation, a philosophy once pioneered by Walt Disney himself and the park is represented by a 145 foot tall artificial tree called the "Tree of Life".

Spending three weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 was 'All My Life' by K-Ci & JoJo. The song was nominated for two Grammy's, a MTV Music Video Award and was the duo's most successful hit.
