Going back to 1998 Jimmy Carrey starred in the comedy drama 'The Truman Show' and Semisonic released their biggest hit.

Opening up this weekend was 'The Truman Show' starring Jim Carrey.  Paramount dubbed this movie "the most expensive art movie ever made". The movie was inspired by a 'Twilight Zone' episode and was a huge success making over $260 million. The film was nominated for six Golden Globes and and three Academy Awards.

Semisonic released their biggest hit 'Closing Time'. The song was written about the anticipation of fatherhood and it was even nominated for a Grammy.
