Going to back to 1994 'Patriot Games' opened up at number one, The Crocodile Hunter got married and Michael Jackson released a hit song.

Opening at number one this weekend at the box office was the action thriller 'Patriot Games' starring Harrison Ford. The film was based off Tom Clancy's novel of the same name and was a sequel to 'The Hunt for Red October'. Alec Baldwin who played Jack Ryan in the first film was unavailable, so Ford took his place. The film was a huge sucess spending two weeks at number one and grossed over $175 million.

On this day "The Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin married Terri Raines in Eugene, Oregon.

Michael Jackson released 'Remember the Time' as the second single off his eighth studio album. It was Jackson's attempt to create a new jack swing jam and it was successful peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video was considered a 9 minute short film and included appearances by Eddie Murphy and Magic Johnson.
