Iconic Statue in Two Harbors Lost an Arm During the Wind Storm Tuesday Night [VIDEO]

On my way to work this morning I saw a few downed trees and thanked my lucky stars that we did not lose power, but an iconic statue in Two Harbors did not fair as well.

Pierre the Pant-less Voyagers arm apparently fell off during the windstorm on Tuesday and he lost his paddle too. A customer at The Earthwood Inn noticed the missing limb and alerted the owners, who promise to get it fixed. Pierre had some work done recently to rehab the statue, but the arm was not touched and they think it may have been rotten. Apparently Pierre is famous for not wearing any pants, so no need to go searching for those too and visitors to the North Shore can continue to count on Pierre greeting them for many years in the future!
