Here are my top 3 picks for "Idiots in the News" today:

1.  A woman in St. Paul, Minnesota has been collecting used Band-Aids for 10 years.

She uses them in her "mandala" wall hangings.

AND..... She prefers Band-Aids with traces of blood and other fluids on them. WHAT?!?! She actually stops random people if she sees a Band-Aid on them that she wants. They usually give her strange looks.

The woman's Band-Aid wall hangings have been displayed at the University of St. Thomas and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.

The works represent sickness and healing.

2.  A 64-year-old woman in Coral Springs, Florida refused to pull over for police-- in fact, she ended up going through the drive-thru at McDonalds and ordering lunch.

A cop lit her up for faulty brake lights, but she ignored him and pulled into Mickey D's.

He got out of his car while she was in line and told her to pull into the parking lot. She ignored him, ordered some food, paid for it, and took off.

A couple other cops joined the slow speed chase and tried to box her in but she somehow got away.

When she pulled into a gas station they smashed her window and dragged her out of the car.

Cops say she wasn't drunk or on drugs and had no previous record. They are at a loss as to why she wouldn't pull over.

She was arrested and tossed in jail.  Read the story HERE.

3.  A 22-year-old man in Milwaukee was in critical condition after he was bitten by a venomous pet snake.

Animal Control Division officers found more than two dozen reptiles in the guy's home.

The snake that bit him is a Gaboon Vipor, which "can produce the highest volume of venom, and it has two-inch fangs, so it can get that venom very deep."

Neighbors said the man often spoke about his snake collection.

"They were like the love of his life. They were his pets."  Read the story HERE.
