If you purchased milk, sour cream, or yogurt within the last 14 years in Wisconsin or one of 14 other states cited in a lawsuit, you can get a refund of up to $70.

Sorry Minnesota peeps, you are not on the list. Residents of the Badger State, however, take note. Today (January 31, 2017) is and the last day to file! This is all part of a $52 million dollar class action lawsuit with National Milk Producers Federation.

According to USA TODAY, dairy farmers in the states listed in the lawsuit may have slaughtered up to 500,000 cows in order to keep dairy production low and prices high.

The states in the lawsuit are: Arizona, California, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, plus the District of Columbia.
