In a Recent Study of the Best Beach Towns to Live in for 2017, Minnesota has Eight of Them Including Duluth and Cloquet

Even though the weather in Duluth and most parts of Minnesota in general can be brutal, we still have enough great qualities to land 8 cities in the ranking of Best Beach Towns to Live in for the United States.

Wallet Hub rounded up a group of experts who used many different categories to compile this list, 49 to be exact, including such things as housing costs, water quality, household income, crime rates and more. Two Minnesota Cities landed in the Top 10 out of 227 total . I honestly laughed out loud at some of the cities on this list because all things considered I would not call them a "Beach town"  by any means just because they have a lake in the city limits. But again they have a lot of criteria that they used.
