Is Duluth Native CJ Ham Switching Positions On The Minnesota Vikings? [UPDATED]
According to a conversation on Twitter between CJ Ham and Vikings play-by-play announcer Paul Allen it looks like CJ may have a new position.
After CJ posted an adorabloe video of his daughter making her first steps, Paul Allen tweeted back “That’s awesome. U looked great at camp today, too” To which Cj had this to say:
@PAOnTheMic She is growing to fast! But thanks man, just getting the hang of this Fullback stuff

My best friend Tim actually called this move after the Vikings drafted Dalvin Cook and didn’t re-sign Full Back Zach Line. Normally a team keeps three running backs and the Vikes already have Jerrick McKinnon, Latavius Murray and now Cook. The best chance Ham had to stay on the active roster was to go to the full back position. I think CJ would be a great fit at Full Back and I would love to see him get more playing time. Let me know in the comments what you think of CJ possibly going into a new position?
Looks like it’s official. The Minnesota Vikings tweeted out that CJ will be spending the off season making the transition to fullback. Congrats to the Denfeld grad and we wish him nothing but the best of luck in the new position!
