Jabba the Hutt Spotted in Duluth

For Star Wars fans and regular people alike this is a pretty big deal to see a giant snow sculpture of Jabba the Hutt right before your very eyes.

Hats off to the artist who has uses his front yard every winter to make huge very detailed snow sculptures. I caught a site of Jabba this morning on my way to work and wondered to myself how long it has been there since I drive this route pretty regularly. If you would like to check it out for yourself it is on the corner of 4th street and 21st Avenue East in Duluth.

Not only would it be a challenge to create something of this size in general, the yard has a pretty steep slope and we really have not had that much snow lately. These giant snow sculptures are one thing I look forward to every winter in Duluth.
