Jeanne Ryan Has No Love for Firecrackers or any Other Explosives

'Tis the season for things that go pop pop pop in the night, or day for that matter if you live my neighborhood. It is the sound of firecrackers and all the other annoying things that make that sound this time of year!

I might not be very popular after this blog, but hear me out. Is it really necessary to start shooting off firecrackers or bottle rockets days before the 4th of July. Isn't that one day enough?

Either I live in an area where people are obsessed with things that explode, or my hearing is way to powerful. We have been listening to firecrackers for the last 3 days non stop and it is driving all of the humans in the house nuts, not to mention our dog and cat.

Now fireworks are excluded from my rant, I love the big booms and bright colors, so I'm not a 4'th of July scrooge, but I just don't want to listen to your home explosives show on a daily basis. On top of that, I am pretty sure that it is adult men not kids shooting these off.

I'm NOT condoning for kids to do this, it is very dangerous, my point is the fact that grown men get such great pleasure out of blowing these things up? Well, I guess the law states in MN that these types of things are legal as long as they don't leave the ground, which may be me leaving the ground and flying off somewhere until at least July 5th to find some peace and quiet.
