Millions of people have seen, heard or read what is on Oprah's Favorite lists every year so I thought I would put my spin on it. It was hard to narrow down to 5, but I wanted to pick places that I actually frequent or use on a regular basis, or think are awesome in general.

    Animal Allies

I am not encouraging anyone out there to get someone a cat or dog for a gift. That is never a good idea and should be a personal decision made by the individual that will be giving this animal a forever home. But, Animal Allies has so many options for gift ideas, like donations, or the huge array of pet supplies and accessories,or if you could pay for an adoption fee for someone you know wants to adopt a pet. Also a great option is donating supplies to the shelter and you can do that in someones name as a gift. The options are endless. Animalallies.net

    Duluth Pack

Who does not love Duluth Pack?  They have been making amazing handmade products since 1882, and we are so lucky to have the flag ship store right here in Duluth. This company has become a rare breed of so much time and care put into every one of their products. Every bag or clothing item I have ever bought for myself or as a gift lasts forever and I love the personal touch of the name of the person that made your bag is found right inside on the tag. As Seen On TV

I am a total sucker for purchasing products that I see on TV, some have worked out great and some stunk. Most of the items I have gotten were things for our house, like under cabinet lighting, painting supplies, knives etc. But I just get caught up in the excitement some are super silly and those tend to be my favorite gifts to give out to people.

You can find many of these products on a variety of web sites like Amazon, but this site has pretty much everything all in one place, which makes it super convenient. Just a word to the wise with any of these items if they say a second product free of charge just pay shipping and handling be aware of the small print, because it may cost you more than the actual product.  AsseenonTV.com

    The Animal Rescue Site

The Animal Rescue Site is a must stop shop for dog and cat lovers alike. Not only do they sell awesome apparel and accessories but every purchase you make helps fund food and care for rescued Animals.

I have ordered many clothing items and they are of very high quality and look exactly like what you see on the website. Plus they usually have items on sale all year long.  What a great feeling to know that your purchase also goes to a greater good! TheAnimalRescueSite.Com

    Overstock.com

We have all seen the commercial about what is in a name, well these goods from Overstock.com are not used or damaged it is all brand new and you can get some serious bargains. They have a huge variety of things and I have had pretty good luck except for a bracelet that I got that turned your skin green.

But I have gotten other jewelry, down comforters and many other things that were very high quality and lasted for a long time. This is a great site for home furnishings, so if you have someone on your Holiday list who has a new place or needs to add to what they have this is a great resource. Overstock.com
