Kim Kardashian may have tried to break the internet with her derriere but Jennifer Lopez is setting the record straight on the "true originator" of the big booty craze.

Of course, sisters from around-the-way (and Sir Mix-A-Lot) might have a counter for that.

“I feel like I paved the way for them,” said J. Lo in an interview on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen. “There’s plenty of room for all that ass."

This isn't the first time Lopez tried to reclaim her status as the bootylicious queen. In 2014, she released the Iggy-Azalea featured song, "Booty" where she made sure to show off her backside as she sang about her "big booty."

In the interview, J. Lo also addressed another controversy in her life -- the rumored feud between herself and Mariah Carey. The rumor began when Lopez missed Carey's Las Vegas residency and when Lopez was reportedly looking at her cell phone during Carey's performance at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.

“First of all, that was not fair, them with the texting thing...I may have looked down for one second and people were like, ‘Look at her! Look at her! It’s no not fair, so not fair,” she said. As for missing Carey's Las Vegas residency -- Lopez had a reasonable answer -- she was busy.

Lopez has been working as a judge for American Idol since 2011 and the "Jenny From the Block" singer is starring in NBC's Shades of Blue.

In the interview, Lopez also talks about Ben Affleck's back tattoo -- and whether she would shag, marry or kill Ryan Seacrest. Check out part one of the interview above and part two below.
