For all the craft lovers that were sad when Hancock Fabrics was closing, no need to fear because Jo-Ann Fabrics will be opening up in Duluth soon.

Speaking of Hancock Fabrics, Jo-Ann will literally be opening up in the same place (inside the Burning Tree Plaza). The store will offer similar items and will even offer classes in sewing, cake decorating, quilting and more.

Jo-Ann was founded in 1943 and already has stores in Hibbing, Bemidji and Brainerd. According to the Duluth News Tribune, Jo-Ann will be opening this fall, but did not give a specific date. I'm all for another fabric store, because I love doing arts and crafts with my girls. Let me know what you think of Jo-Ann making it's way to Duluth in the comments below.
