Justin Timberlake may be focusing on his acting career, but he can’t stay away from the music. The pop star has been hired by fiancée Jessica Biel to act as the music supervisor and composer for her new movie, ‘The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.’

According to The Wrap, the film follows a grieving man who uses a new friendship with an imaginative young girl to get over the loss of his wife. Biel will star in the film and serve as its producer under her production company Iron Ocean Films.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast as the widower, and Chloe Grace Moretz is set to play the young friend. Timberlake has not been announced as a part of the on-screen cast, but that may change by the time the film is set to shoot.

As the composer for the film, fans may want to keep their fingers crossed for a new song by the 31-year-old star, but there’s no word on whether JT will pen an original chart-ready tune for the soundtrack. This project marks the first professional collaboration between Timberlake and Biel, who are set to marry this summer.
