The Minnesota Timberwolves are on an upward path, with a new coach and two rookies of the year on the roster.

Karl-Anthony Towns follows his teammate, Andrew Wiggins, in winning the Rookie of the Year award, the team is the first since the 1972-73 season to have back to back Rookie of the Year winners.

Towns won the award with a unanimous vote; he joins Damian Lillard, Blake Griffin, David Robinson, and Ralph Sampson as the only unanimous Rookies of the Year in the past 32 years.
