Katy Perry Explains Why She Made Barbara Walters so Mad [VIDEO]

Katy Perry's star was rising fast in 2011 and Barbara Walters took notice, wanting to interview her for a segment on the most Intriguing people of 2011. But all was not well at the start.

Katy recently explained what made Barbara Walters so mad, she (Katy) arrived at the interview an hour late. It all boiled down to a scheduling snafu and looking back Katy Perry admits to Billboard she should have never done the interview.

She was in the midst of a divorce from Russel Brand and was on a grueling leg of her tour. With the power that Barbara Walters holds, this is not someone you want to keep waiting. Barbara actually said to her 'You know, I've only ever waited for one other person this long, and you know who that person was? Judy Garland. You know how she turned out, right?'

Oh snap is right, but we all know that Katy will be just fine and seems to be in a good place now, thanks in part to her boyfriend John Mayer. Check out the interview below:
