When it comes to celebrities with plenty to be thankful for this year, Katy Perry comes close to topping the list. Just this week, the pop singer entered into the Top 10 singles chart on Billboard with her latest release, ‘The One That Got Away,’ from her double platinum-selling ‘Teenage Dream’ album.

‘Teenage Dream’ is just the seventh album to generate at least six singles that have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in its 53-year history. According to Billboard, other artists who have claimed such victory include Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Janet Jackson.

Perry’s previous singles from ‘Teenage Dream’ that have broken into the Top 10 on the elite chart has included ‘California Gurls’ (featuring Snoop Dogg), ‘Firework,’ ‘E.T.’ (featuring Kanye West), ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)‘ and the album’s title track, all of which have hit the No. 1 slot. If ‘The One That Got Away’ also goes all the way to No. 1, Perry would tie Michael Jackson’s record he set with ‘Bad,’ when the album became the first collection of tunes to generate six No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

‘Teenage Dream’ has spent a total of 65 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 chart and has sold over 1.9 million copies to date.
