Kelly Clarkson + Brandon Blackstock Set a Wedding Date

Miss Independent is one step closer to tying the knot.

Kelly Clarkson and fiance Brandon Blackstock, who got engaged in Decemeber, have a wedding date.

RadarOnline has obtained one of the "save the date" cards sent out by the couple, which tells guests the nuptials will take place on October 20, 2013 in Nashville, Tenn. and to expect a formal invitation soon. (Well, for everyone except maybe the person who leaked the exclusive bit of stationery to a tabloid website.)

Late last year, Clarkson, 31, surprised fans via Twitter with the announcement of her engagement to the 35-year-old Blackstock:

Brandon is the son of her manager, Navel Blackstock, and is country legend Reba McEntire's stepson. As we previously reported, the wedding will be officiated by the couple's close friend, singer Blake Shelton.

No word on the guest list yet, but we're willing to bet Clive Davis will not be making the cut.
