This just in:  Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night" video is ready for your viewing pleasure!

I'm a fan of Lady Gaga just as much as the next guy.  I guess that means that my level of fan-dom depends on who I'm standing next to.  Which is exactly how I feel about her latest video.  I'm torn.  It's dramatic, cinematic, and all those other -matics.  But don't try and sneak a peek at work, unless your boss won't mind you taking up a quarter-hour of usual productive time.  (Good thing I get to watch because it's part of my job!)

She's a huge part of pop culture, and I get that.  What I don't get what the smashing of Cheerios on the face symbolizes.  Why does she include her prediction about mint green being a hot Spring color?  Is this her way of getting her foot in the door for future acting gigs?

It's interesting, sure.  But I'm not sure I agree with a 14 minute music video.  Maybe because I just don't get it.  But are you really supposed to "get" Lady Gaga?
