If you thought you had a bad Monday, it can't be worse than Last Place on Earth owner Jim Carlson's. He was found guilty on 51 felony counts of selling banned substances in a federal court in Minneapolis today.

After a two week trial, the jury of seven-women and five-men deliberated for about two days over the 55 felony counts.

Carlson's girlfriend, Lava Marie Haugen, was convicted on all four counts against her, including conspiracy. Carlson’s son, Joseph James Gellerman, was convicted of two of four counts against him, but not guilty of conspiracy.

Carlson was escorted out of the courtroom and taken into custody by U.S. Marshals after the verdict was read. His sentencing trial will be set soon and appeals are expected.
