Let’s Go! Duluth Huskies Season Kicks Off May 30th

Summertime is fast approaching and for baseball fans in the Twin Ports it does not get any better than Duluth Huskies baseball. And the season gets under way in a week.
Growing up in Milwaukee I come from a big baseball family, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Brewers, but admittedly I am an even bigger Cub’s fan. Yes this did cause some conflict when we would be at the old County Stadium and those 2 teams were playing each other.
But, here in the Twin Ports we are lucky enough to watch athletes that play their hearts out to hone their skills and maybe make it to the big time, a Major League Baseball team. I know for our boys, it is a tradition to head out to historic Wade Stadium, saddle up in the bleachers and watch a good old fashion game.
For kids they can get up close and personal with some of the players, and if they are lucky maybe even walk away with a game ball.
