Lightning Strikes House in Superior Blowing a Hole in The Roof
A strong line of thunderstorms made its way through the Twin Ports this morning leaving MIX 108 without power for a bit and a huge hole in a roof in Superior.
Lightning struck the home on John Ave., which is an assisted living facility, and started a small fire, put a huge hole in the roof and some heavy burn marks down the side of the home.
According to the Superior Telegram, everyone was evacuated and no one was injured. The ceiling inside the house has partially collapsed and the home is unlivable at this point.
