Little Girl Sets Up Lemonade Stand to Help Slain Officers Family [VIDEO]

Sometimes we as adults discount the wisdom of children who feel compelled to do the right thing and a little girl named Fil is just that person.

Veteran Mendota Heights Police Officer Scott Patrick was killed last week during a traffic stop in the Twin Cities, and the suspect Brian George Fitch Senior was charged Friday with First Degree Murder. Upon hearing about this tragic event Fil Sands a 9 year old who lives in Maple Grove Minnesota decided to raise money for Patrick's family.

She did so by having a lemonade stand with a goal of raising $100.00, she raised $2,000 in just a few hours. Her new goal is $2,231 which was officer Patricks badge #. I have a feeling Fil will raise that and more.
