Madonna Celebrates 24 Years Of Expressing Herself [VIDEO]

On May 9th twenty four years ago today, Madonna premiered her ground breaking Express Yourself video, which of course stirred some controversy. But really would she have it any other way?

It is hard to even begin to express my adoration for Madonna, I have been a huge fan right out of the gate. She truly blazed a trail for all female performers in music and entertainment alike.

She seems to have mellowed out somewhat as she has become a mom and gotten older, but with the staying power she has and still has, let's celebrate a true maverick in the industry!
