Mall of America Releases Thousands of Ladybugs to Save the Plants and Trees Inside the Mall

The Mall of America in all it's massiveness, is also home to more than 30,000 live plants including some trees, and Aphids which could destroy them, are on the attack!

In order to protect all the greenery inside the mall they have unleashed over 70,000 lady bugs to take care of these pests, and to avoid having to spray pesticides. Although some patrons in the past have complained of a stray ladybug landing in their food, they mostly stick to attacking the Aphids.

This is just one of many steps the Mega Mall has taken to try and be as Green as possible, all while trying to operate the biggest mall in North America.
