Manatees Make Surprise Stop on Florida Beach [VIDEO]

I am a self professed Oceanography geek and this would be one of the greatest things ever to be surrounded by a  bunch of manatees .

A group of swimmers in Fort Lauderdale Florida were treated to a Mom and her pups up close and personal.

If you have ever been in South Florida you see Manatee mailboxes everywhere (my favorite) They are very gentle  creatures that eat plants, and are very coveted by many people in this area.
