Tired of driving from Minnesota to Wisconsin? In the next 20 years the Minnesota Department of Transportation plans to have a passenger train.

The plan is to have four round trips daily, but according to the St. Croix Valley Rail Group it won't be implemented without local support and involvement.

The nonpartisan group comprised of 50 citizens from Hudson, River Falls and New Richmond has scheduled two public programs on Minnesota’s plan that will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 23. This group also is advocating for a train station in the Hudson area.

I think it would be interesting to have a railway that Minnesota and Wisconsin, I mean why not add another mode of transportation. I wonder how long it will take for rail line from Duluth to Superior. You can read the full article the Grand Forks Herald here and let me know what you think of the rail line in the comments below.
