Four months ago, Hurricane Maria slammed into Puerto Rico and left the majority of the island without power, now Minnesota Power crews are there to help.

The crews arrived last week, several days after their trucks and equipment were shipped via barge to the island, the crews will spend at least a month on the island helping to restore power.

The category 5 hurricane destroyed much of the power grid and the recovery process has been slow, Maria is the worst natural disaster to ever hit the island.
