Minnesota Power’s First Community Solar Garden Taking Shape

The first community solar garden built by Minnesota Power is starting to take shape in Duluth.

The project is located at the corner of Arrowhead Rd. and Rice Lake Rd. and when finished by the end of the year, the garden will produce 40-kilowatts of electricity.

The site is one of two solar gardens being built in Duluth, this site will be planted with pollinator-friendly, native plants and flowers. The other site will also be located on Arrowhead Rd. and  Haines Rd.
