Minnesota Twins Pitcher Vance Worley Met His Fiance on Twitter

Many couples have met through dating web sites, Facebook and even Twitter, but now new Twins pitcher Vance Worley brings this unorthodox dating practice into the spotlight.

Vance formerly of the Philadelphia Philleys  was out at an event meeting fans and he ended up getting a picture with one of them. It all seems pretty cut and dry until this one particular fan decided to send him the picture on Twitter and asked him out on a date.

Quite a bold move considering she used to joke to her friends and family that Vance was her boyfriend. As fate would have it they did indeed go out on a date and obviously hit it off so well they are now engaged.

Look for Worley to possibly be the starting pitcher for the Twins opening day this season.
