Preparation for week 16 by the Minnesota Vikings proved to be a successful effort, after winning 23-6 over a very good Texans team in Houston. At the end of one of last week's practices, getting ready to take on those Texans, attention turned away from the game plan at Winter Park and turned to another competition.

Members of the Vikings, including Fred Evans and Everson Griffen, ended one practice last week with a breakdance competition. In previous seasons, something like this would be seen by fans as a lack of focus by a team that is trying to claw into the playoffs. This season, with low expectations following a 3-13 2011 campaign, a little dancing doesn't seem quite so out of place. Taking things a step further, the Vikings earned a solid win over another playoff team following the Winter Park dance party.
