The Minnesota Vikings announced today that they've signed LB Eric Kendricks to a contract extension.

According to Adam Schefter, the contract is a 5-year, $50 million extension that will include $25 million guaranteed.

As a Viking Kendriks has 367 tackles, 30 of those for a loss, 21 pass break-ups, two interceptions, both for touchdowns.

During his first three seasons in the NFL, Kendriks had led the team in total tackles. Kendricks has five career games with 13 tackles.

Kendricks was selected in the 2nd round (45th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft and went on to receive All-Rookie honors that season.
