The Minnesota Wild worked with Make-a-Wish to make a 15-year-old cancer patient a Wild player for the day.

Carter Casey was signed to a one-day contract for the Wild after he had the wish to simply meet the team.

Wild coach Bruce Boudreau gave Carter his own Jersey and held a mini press conference saying, “It puts everything in perspective. We are out here worrying about little things that happen during the course of the game, while this young gentleman is fighting for his life. It puts everything in perspective.”
