Nelly says he is still "baffled" over his surprise tour bus raid that occurred a few weeks ago. On Oct. 11, authorities in Sierra Blanca, Texas pulled over his vehicle and found over 10 pounds of marijuana, multiple bags of heroin and a loaded .45 caliber handgun.

A member of Nelly's entourage, Brian Keith, was arrested for the contraband and the St. Louis rapper released a statement claiming he was innocent in the matter. But the incident has left a heavy burden on Nelly.

In an interview with MTV News, the 'Hot in Herre' rhymer is hurt that his friend's negligent act almost jeopardized his and others' livelihood. "I think in this case it's really alarming when you find yourself in a situation that you didn't put yourself in," says Nelly. "That's the only thing that I think is baffling, and I think that's the part that hurts the most."

Although the raid happened a couple weeks ago, Nelly is concerned that people's impression of him has changed. "For 14 years, I made my perception what I wanted to make my perception and now my perception may be slightly changed," he says. "Not because of what I did, but because of what someone else did and I think that's the part that hurts you the most."

Despite the unfortunate incident, Nelly still considers Keith as family so we won't turn his back on him. "It is a sensitive situation because... that's like family to me and sometimes family are the ones that hurt you the worse," he says. "For a long time someone protected my life with their life, and be that as it may, I can't overlook that."
