Congrats to One Direction! The U.K. heartthrobs have made history again, selling out their Madison Square Garden show of their North American tour in one minute. Yes, you read that right — one minute.

Louis Tomlinson’s adoring mom broke the news on Twitter, writing, “So the boys broke YET another record :) Sold Madison Square Gardens in less than a minute #properband #proudmummy X.” Zayn Malik could barely believe their luck, tweeting, “Massive thanks to every1 that’s bought a ticket to our show at maddison square gardens #amazing news ! :) x x”

What makes this a really huge deal? Madison Square Garden is the third largest venue on the planet.

The massive success is hardly a surprise for Directioners. They had the crowd — and celebs like Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift — on their feet and singing along to ‘What Makes You Beautiful‘ at the Kids’ Choice Awards. One Direction fans swarmed Toronto when the band performed there last, forcing the city to shut down entire streets to accommodate the crowds. The group’s star is rising rapidly with two TV appearances tonight alone — one on ‘iCarly‘ and another on ‘Saturday Night Live.’

It’s hardly the first time the band’s made history. Their first U.S. single, ‘What Makes You Beautiful,’ debuted at No. 28 on the Hot 100 before it even hit radio, making the highest chart debut from a U.K. act since 1998 — and they’re also the first British act to ever debut at No. 1 with their first release.

Not bad, blokes!
